To falando O Buffalo Springfield foi uma das mais importantes bandas norte-americanas dos anos 60 e precursora do folk rock, não foi apenas o grupo que despontou os talentosos Neil Young e Stephen Stills. Foi uma banda que teve uma vida curta, mas foi de grande influência, servindo de plataforma de lançamento para as carreiras de Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Richie Furay e Jim Messina. Após sua formação, em abril de 1966, uma série de interrupções devido a pressões do mundo de negócio musical e brigas internas, deu como resultado trocas contínuas na formação da banda, e finalmente culminou na dissolução da banda depois de apenas 25 meses juntos. Altamente recomendado.
